Embracing Love and Purpose: A LoTus M Mighty Reflection

Hey there, beautiful soul. 🌸Welcome to LoTus M Mighty—a sacred space where we gather in truth, rise in strength, and bloom through the muddy, messy, miraculous moments of life. Take a deep breath with me. Inhale peace... exhale release.

Today, I am so very grateful that you are here with me. Because in slowing down, I remembered something sacred: I am made of love. Even the hard stuff—the tears, the detours, the moments I thought I couldn’t survive—have been gifts. They’ve been the hands of the Divine, shaping me.

Every challenge, every reroute, every ache—it’s not punishment. It’s purpose. The world is thirsty for love. And sometimes, our pain becomes the medicine others need.

I live from love. I lead LoTus M Mighty from love. I trust that my wholeness heals, that my equanimity ripples peace, that my abundance amplifies beauty—because beauty is a match for love. And I am both. 🌿

The Day That Changed Everything

January 25th, 2017—a day my world turned holy in a new way. It was the day I handed my 2½-month-old son, Malix, to an incredible cardiology team for open-heart surgery. That morning was the hardest morning of my life. Handing your baby over for surgery is a moment no parent forgets.

Five days before, the hospital chart read "failure to thrive." I had fed him diligently, prayed faithfully, loved fiercely—but his tiny heart could no longer sustain its rhythm. That morning, as I rocked him at 3 a.m., two quotes found me like whispers from Heaven:

"God never promised us a life without challenges. But He did promise that if we stay in faith, He will work all things for good.""May all your vibes say: I got this."

Tears streamed down my face as I smiled. I didn’t have this—but I knew God did.

We asked our community to wear red for Mighty Malix that day. As photos poured in—a sea of crimson hearts filling my phone—it felt like the universe itself was pulsing with love. Around noon, I felt a divine pull to go to the chapel. So, my husband, my parents, and I went. We prayed. We wept. We surrendered.

Moments later, a nurse came to find us. Malix’s heart had stopped—twice. They were preparing for one final attempt. And then, during our prayer in that chapel, his tiny heart began to beat again.

The doctor later said, “There’s no medical reason why it worked.”But I knew.Love was the reason. Faith was the reason. Divine grace was the rhythm that brought my son’s heartbeat back. 💗

From the Mud, Abundance Bloomed

The following days were a blur of machines, whispered prayers, and steady hands. My mom moved in to care for our other children. Meals appeared at our door. Friends became our lifeline. Our community carried us through.

Eventually, I had to take extended leave from work. What began as a temporary pause became a new season entirely. Two full-time incomes became one. My husband began selling sports cards online to fill the gap—and that little side hustle soon blossomed into our family’s main source of income.

Out of the mud, abundance bloomed. 🌺

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways.” (Isaiah 55:9)

We didn’t have the plan—but Heaven did.

Advocacy as Worship

During that season, we learned a heartbreaking truth: individuals with Down syndrome could be denied organ transplants in Wisconsin due to “quality of life” assessments.

We could not accept that.

On December 13th, 2021, Act 113—known as Malix’s Law—was signed into law, making it illegal to deny an organ transplant based on disability. Our pain became our purpose. Our love became law.

That is what happens when divine love flows through human hands. Advocacy is worship. Connection is communion. Motherhood is ministry. 💞

We are here not for perfection, but for perception—to shout the worth of every soul, especially those the world underestimates. Through every act of inclusion, we make heaven visible on earth.

Slowing Down to Remember Who We Are

Today, I am deeply thankful for the ability to slow down and simply be. To connect with the Divine in the quiet and remember:

✨ I am not separate from grace. I am grace in motion.✨ The hard stuff didn’t break me—it woke me.✨ The world’s thirst for love is my invitation to pour it out.

This is what I came here for—to live love, to embody light, to show that even the mud can bloom miracles. Maybe our challenges are the living water the world needs.

My hard stuff is someone else’s medicine. Your story is someone else’s hope.

Abundance isn’t something we earn—it’s something we embody. It’s the quiet knowing that we are whole, we are enough, and we are love. And from that place, beauty finds us.Because beauty is always a match for love. 🌸

A Kaleidoscope of Faith and Grace

The lotus doesn’t rush the bloom—it rises in perfect rhythm with the Divine.Like a kaleidoscope, every twist and turn reveals new patterns, new beauty, new purpose. When the light shifts, so does the view—and the picture is still breathtaking.

Every person, every soul, every story adds color to the divine design. When the plan shifts, may we trust that the pattern is still sacred. And when fear whispers, may certainty in love sing louder.

A Prayer for the Journey

God of the hills and the heartbeats,Thank You for sacred reroutes. For love that lives in loss. For the grace that grows in the mud. When our plans crack, hold the pieces together with Your peace.Show us that when our hearts break, it’s often just You making more room for love.

Amen. 🌿

Affirmation

I release the map I once held.I trust the beauty of the path I’m on.I am guided, even in the unknown.I live and lead from love.I am the abundance.I am the bloom.
